Oh the places you’ll go and the people you’ll meet….

We always say you never know who you will come across when you are out and this is exactly the case with Emily and Jim.

We were out at Chambers Bay, shooting one of our senior models for this year, and we see from behind some umbrellas a camera poking out, well little did we know that Jim’s parents had set up a little spying area to catch Jim’s proposal to Emily on film!! It was the cutest thing we have ever seen, they had chairs set up, a camera, and champagne for after. So when Emily said yes, Aric went over and asked if he could take a picture for them, of course they were thrilled, we sent them the photo, they loved it, and booked us for their engagement shoot!!

We found the cutest little apple orchard in University Place, and ended up at their favorite spot and Aric’s Chambers Bay. We had a blast talking about all the stuff we had in common, like golf, church, working in middle schools, etc.

We are bummed that we won’t be able to shoot their actual wedding, as we were already booked. Just a crazy example of how we are never put in a place by chance, we just need to keep our eyes opened to the possibilities!

Princess for a day!

This is what we all hope to feel like on our wedding day (ok well maybe only the girls). That is just what Erin wanted and that’s what she got, from the crown on her head and her dress, to the tiny Prince Charming and Cinderella that added to the cake table. Never mind the fact that when we went walking around to take pictures after the ceremony that every little girl we saw, and yes even some boys, were in awe of the princess who was right before there eyes! It really was the cutest thing I have seen at a wedding and Erin was such a good sport about the whole thing, playing right along.

My Favorite of the Day!!
