Dodging the rain drops….

I hear it is good luck if it rains on your wedding day….if this is the case, then Brianne and Cory got it! We were able to grab some great pics outside in between the rain, the skies opened up just at the right time.

Cory’s family rented the Fernbrook House out on the Puget Sound for their stay and that is where most of the photos were taken. It was truly a great find, not only in a vacation house, but for pictures also. The house had a mixture of old and modern, from the radiant floors to the old library books, and dutch door in the laundry room. Oh and did I mention the views of The Puget Sound…absolutely fabulous!!

The decorations were simple yet lovely. Flowers and candles. Navy blue and cream were the colors. The ceremony was held at Grace Community Covenant a semi traditional ceremony which included the lighting of the Unity Candle.

After the ceremony we headed down to Swantown Marina for a few extra photos of the bride and groom, along with the car that was restored just in time for the wedding by Brianne’s Dad, Darren. A navy blue 1939 Lincoln Zephyr, made for some beautiful photos.

The reception was held at The Heritage Room, downtown Olympia, where ate, drank, and danced the night away!

So blessed to be a part of all of these special days and to make so many memories that they will have forever. Can’t say this enough!

Thank you Brianne and Cory for sharing your day with us!

From the first moment we met with Jenna and Wilson, we knew that this was going to be a great match for both of us. We had so much in common and both share that something special feeling about Hawaii.
After spending the day in Portland with them for their engagement shoot, we knew we were in for some serious fun!

Last month we set off for a week in paradise to capture as many moments for them as possible. The fun started with an evening of dancing and laughs at The Pearl, for their bachelor/bachelorette party, which lasted well into the next morning. The next day we all meet at Lanikuhonua, the venue for the wedding & reception, for rehearsal. Here we were able to meet the other members of Team Baisa (bridal party and parents)! Next we were off to Just Tacos in Ko’lina for some great food and a great time with family and friends.
Then came the wedding day, so nice that the rain stayed away. We spent the day at JW Marriott getting ready for the ceremony. The time for the big event finally came and it was absolutely beautiful! The party after wards was filled with food, music, and lots of dancing!
I have to say that we were truly blessed beyond words to be included in this wedding. For someone to trust you enough to fly you out so you can capture their special day, a day they will never have again….that is bigger than words for sure.

We started out 2011 the best way possible. Shooting Max and Shannon’s wedding. It was a little chilly in the morning but the light was awesome! All the girls met at Stage Work Hair Design to get ready bright and early. Max and Shannon chose to do their first look on the Capital grounds where Max proposed, it was a perfect morning!! Their ceremony was one of the best we have had the privilege to attend, they started their life off together serving each other in the Lord’s name. Then we headed to the Red Lion Hotel for the reception. Family and friends mingled and ate while Robert of Music De-Lite kept everything flowing through out the night. We are so lucky to be a part of something so special!!

Congratulations Max & Shannon!!!
