Dodging the rain drops….
I hear it is good luck if it rains on your wedding day….if this is the case, then Brianne and Cory got it! We were able to grab some great pics outside in between the rain, the skies opened up just at the right time.
Cory’s family rented the Fernbrook House out on the Puget Sound for their stay and that is where most of the photos were taken. It was truly a great find, not only in a vacation house, but for pictures also. The house had a mixture of old and modern, from the radiant floors to the old library books, and dutch door in the laundry room. Oh and did I mention the views of The Puget Sound…absolutely fabulous!!
The decorations were simple yet lovely. Flowers and candles. Navy blue and cream were the colors. The ceremony was held at Grace Community Covenant a semi traditional ceremony which included the lighting of the Unity Candle.
After the ceremony we headed down to Swantown Marina for a few extra photos of the bride and groom, along with the car that was restored just in time for the wedding by Brianne’s Dad, Darren. A navy blue 1939 Lincoln Zephyr, made for some beautiful photos.
The reception was held at The Heritage Room, downtown Olympia, where ate, drank, and danced the night away!
So blessed to be a part of all of these special days and to make so many memories that they will have forever. Can’t say this enough!
Thank you Brianne and Cory for sharing your day with us!
